Why Vegetable-Tanned Leather?
Leather has been a companion to humanity for over 7,000 years. It is strong, flexible, and—most importantly—repairable.
We work exclusively with vegetable-tanned leather because it is a “down-to-earth” material. Unlike chemically treated leathers, veg-tan leather lives with you. It absorbs the oils of your hands, the sunlight of your travels, and the marks of your daily life, developing a unique patina that tells your specific story.
